Upgradation of Parks is a priority of Smt. Lakshmi Umesh. Several parks are being upgraded with additional amenities. New borewells have been dug to enhance water supply to Banagiri BDA Park, DVG Park and Brindavan BDA Park in Banashankari 2nd Stage. E-toilets have been installed in many parks recently for the benefit of park users.
Banagiri Children’s Park
Banagiri Children’s park was inaugurated by R Ashok on his birthday in Banagiri extension of Banashankari 2nd Stage.
Water Supply for Parks
In order to ensure ample water supply to the greenery being developed in BDA parks, new borewells are being dug for the major parks in the Ganesh Mandir Ward. The current water supply was found to be inadequate by Smt. Lakshmi Umesh and hence the drive to increase water supply to the parks used by hundreds of residents and their children.
