Independence Day Celebrations
The 70th Indian Independence day was celebrated in Ganesh Mandir Ward on August 15, 2016. The flag hoisting ceremony was held in Brindavan BDA Park in Banashankari 2nd Stage.
Along with many residents who turned up for the event, the ceremony was attended by Smt.Lakshmi Umesh, corporator for Ganesh Mandir Ward 165 of BBMP and her husband Umesh Kabbal, BJP youth leader. After initial renditions of patriotic songs, Indian flag was unfurled by Smt. Lakshmi Umesh and Sri Umesh Kabbal. Sri Umesh Kabbal spoke to residents on this occasion.
